Finnish DJ Darude- Bio Facts

Darude is a producer who specializes in trance music. Trance music is a variety of electric dance music. Trance music uses duplications of melodic synthesizer phrases and combines elements of new age, pop and ambient music. Sandstorm is popular at sporting affairs, especially in the United States, and the song is used as the theme song of mixed martial artist Wanderlei Silva.

Darude and other trance producers use the most current hardware and software to produce uplifting music. Darude has been making music since his school days. He got his first big break when the Finnish producer, Jaakko Salovaara heard his demo of Sand Storm. Darude and Jaaakko decided to work together to produce Sand Storm.
